Marnie Downey, owner of ERGO Inc., has earned a solid reputation as an expert in the field of Occupational Ergonomics. She is a Certified Canadian Professional Ergonomist and Professional Kinesiologist with over 19 years of ergonomics consulting and training expertise.
Marnie has solved diverse ergonomic challenges for hundreds of companies in a variety of industries in Canada, the United States and Mexico with her pro-active approach to problem solving. Some of her projects have included the design-build of correctional institution touch screen technology control rooms, time studies to determine the repetitiveness of a work cell, analysis of material handling tasks to reduce double handling and create lean work processes, design of a kitchen to accommodate wheelchair patrons, development of post offer pre-screening programs for hospitals, school boards and manufacturing and the ergonomic design of office spaces, libraries, retail stores and industrial workstations.
Marnie authored the Ergonmics Study Guide for the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals. The text of this domain provides an overview of the most relevant ergonomic principles for Safety Professionals and is used when preparing for the BCRSP exam.
Her energetic personality provides a motivational training atmosphere for management and employees. She has presented at the American Industrial Hygiene Association in Washington, D.C., the Canadian Association of Ergonomists, the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Ontario Kinesiology Association Annual Conference, the Industrial Accident Prevention Association National Health & Safety Conference, the Ontario Library Association, several Chamber of Commerce events and the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.

Kavita Chauhan is a Registered Kinesiologist and experienced Ergonomist with over 13 years of practical injury prevention experience. Kavita has unique experience in Corporate Wellness, Occupational Health and Safety, teaching First Aid and Fitness and Car Seat Safety.
Kavita has conducted Physical Demands Analyses, Ergonomic Workstation Assessments, implemented ergonomic design solutions and recommended best work practices for financial institutions, retail, construction, automotive assembly, healthcare and corporate clients. Kavita has also performed Functional Abilities Tests, developed Return to Work Plans and taught Rehabilitation Programs for injured workers. Kavita’s creativity and practical approach to solving health related challenges has allowed employees to prevent injuries and improve existing concerns.
Some of Kavita’s special projects have included: developing and implementing a vehicle and commuting ergonomic program, managing the operations of an on‐site Fitness Centre, developing a Corporate Wellness Program that included creating and distributing monthly wellness, safety and health bulletins for 400 employees and educating over 8000 people in First Aid and Safety.
Kavita’s compelling teaching style engages and motivates learners. Kavita is always up to a challenge whether presenting to large groups or working one-on-one.
Terry Flowers has a Masters in Ergonomics from the University of Limerick and an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from University of Waterloo and has been practicing ergonomics for 15 years.
After graduating, Terry initiated an Ergonomics Consulting business in Ireland. She completed a wide range of ergonomics services including office and industrial assessments, in-depth ergonomic risk assessments and intensive train the trainer programs in both office and industrial ergonomics. She consulted for large multi-national organizations including Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Xerox, Microsoft and Lucent Technologies.
After moving to the UK, Terry worked primarily for the National Health Service and The Scotsman Publication – the national newspaper, where she oversaw office and production ergonomic projects.
Upon returning to Canada, Terry has continued ergonomic work in many sectors with a strong focus on federal government assessment.
Terry has a passion for proactive ergonomics with a strong emphasis on educating clients to allow them to take ownership of their own health, safety and wellness. She has very strong rehabilitation skills and excels at complicated return to work programming.
Andrew Ihasz is a Registered Kinesiologist and experienced Ergonomist with over 20 years of practical injury prevention experience. Andrew has unique experience in Corporate Ergonomics, Occupational Health and Safety, Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Disability Management.
Andrew has lead local and national committees/teams in developing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures and ergonomic designs with focus on injury prevention, compensation cost reduction, efficiency, employee return to work, comfort and productivity. He has managed Independent Paramedical Assessment firms, chaired numerous workplace committees and sat on the Board of Director of the Ontario Kinesiology Association.
Andrew developed and implemented a national Musculoskeletal Disorder Prevention Program for a large retail chain and as a result decreased workplace injuries by 30%. He has conducted Physical Demands Assessments, Ergonomic Workstation Assessments, Safety Inspections, Accident Investigations, Site Inspections and implemented ergonomic design solutions and ergonomic best work practices in logistics, retail, construction, automotive and health care sectors.
Andrew has also performed Functional Abilities Evaluations, Work Capacity Evaluations, Pre-placement Assessments, developed Return to Work Plans, taught Rehabilitation Programs for injured worker, as well as successfully managed thousands of compensation and disability claims.
Andrew was voted an Educational Influential member of his profession for his training expertise.

Desirée has over 12 years of combined clinical and exercise rehabilitation experience working with all types of clients, injuries, and medical conditions. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Psychology from the University of Western Ontario and a Post-Graduate Honours Recreation and Leisure Services Diploma from Humber College.
Desirée has worked with a diverse collection of highly accredited health care and wellness professionals in multi-disciplinary settings including, clinics, corporate wellness sites, manufacturing environments, non-profit organizations, and municipal recreation, as well as community and fitness facilities. Desirée’s exposure to fitness and wellness environments has honed her skills in managing staff, developing retention programs, conducting seminars, and coordinating special events. With experience in conducting Functional Abilities Evaluations, Disability Assessments and Post Offer of Employment Testing, Desirée has sharpened her assessment and consulting skills. Desirée is an expert at identifying and correcting movement pattern deficiencies, developing and implementing land and water-based therapeutic exercise prescription and conditioning programs, and conducting office ergonomic assessments and consultations.
Pam Grills is a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist with over 14 years experience making industrial and office workplaces healthier and more productive. Pam Grills holds a Masters degree in Ergonomics from the University of Waterloo.
Pam has been involved in the design and redesign of many types of workstations, returning injured workers to safe productive work, and delivering ergonomics training. Recently, Pam made the Supreme Court Judges sit up and take notice of ergonomics by making their courtroom ergonomically correct. Pam developed and delivered customized safe lifting training for Canada Post Corporation, developed and implemented customized ergonomics programs for NSERC/SSHRC, Nortel, and Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and lead Health Canada’s National Ergonomics Advisory Group in developing and internal ergonomics program, office ergonomics education package, ergonomic train-the-trainer, and office ergonomic report guidelines.
Richard is an experienced Human Resources Professional with over 20 years consulting experience in the public and private sector including manufacturing, health care, and the service industry.
He has extensive Human Resources, Safety and Labour Relations experience in unionized settings. He is skilled in negotiating cooperative solutions.
Richard has extensive knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and the Regulations. He successfully assists clients pass the WSIB Workwell Audit, with a 100% success rate.
